At Maranatha Baptist Church, we proclaim:

The Book

The Bible is the Word of God. We have no doubts about that statement and we enthusiastically proclaim it. Our church doctrine is Bible doctrine. Our standards of faith and practice are found in the Bible. We believe the Bible is the key to understanding our past, living in our present, and securing our future.

The Blood

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" Ephesians 1:7

Only by the shed blood of Jesus Christ can we experience the forgiveness of sin. Jesus died for us so we can have fellowship with God. The only way to heaven is through the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the light. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6.

The Blessed Hope

"Our Lord Cometh" is the name of our church. We have a Blessed Hope that the Lord Jesus Christ will come again for His people, the true church, the Blood-washed, believers of the Book.
